The Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District Assembly is a local government authority established by Legislative Instrument 1848 in 2008. It is one of the 22 administrative districts in the Central Region of Ghana, with its capital at Breman Asikuma.

To apply for a building permit, visit the Physical Planning Department at the District Assembly office with your site plan, architectural drawings and completed application form. Processing takes 14-21 working days.

Business registration is done at the Assembly office. Bring your Ghana Card, two passport photos and the completed business registration form. There is a registration fee payable at the Revenue Unit.

Property rates can be paid at the Revenue & Rates Unit at the Assembly office. You can also contact us by phone to arrange payment. Receipts are issued for all payments.
